王福顺教授是江苏省特聘教授、四川峨眉领军人才,博士研究生导师。曾经留学于英国牛津大学心理学系、日本国立精神神经研究中心、美国布朗大学、罗彻斯特大学,有着十几年的海外留学和工作经历。主要研究方向神经心理学和情绪心理学,具体贡献为:

(1)国际上首次原创性地提出情绪的“三元色学说”。情绪是五彩缤纷、各色各样的,根据情绪的神经体液基础,提出人的三种核心情绪和多种复合情绪的理论。原创性提出人有喜、怒、哀、惧四种基本情绪,并分别由多巴胺(喜悦)、五羟色胺(厌恶)和肾上腺素(恐惧和愤怒)介导。这三种神经递质就如同三原色,可以称为人的三种核心情绪(奖励、惩罚和应激)组合形成五彩缤纷的多种多样的复合情绪。

(2)对基本情绪的神经结构基础进行了探讨。喜怒哀惧四种基本情绪不仅有单独的神经递质介导,而且有不同的神经结构影响,比如杏仁核是恐惧的中枢,缰核参与了厌恶反应等。

(3)从细胞水平对抑郁情绪的神经调节进行探讨,比如星形胶质细胞的钙信号、胶质淋巴系统等。原创性的提出三种单胺类神经递质的在抑郁症治疗中的不同功能:多巴胺直接、快速诱发正性情绪,肾上腺素可以诱发愤怒等情绪,而五羟色胺可以通过诱导睡眠、调理胶质淋巴系统等慢性机制改善大脑功能来治疗抑郁症。

曾经在Nature Medicine(IF=87.241)、Nature Neuroscience(IF= 28.771)Cell Stem Cell(IF= 25.269)Science signaling(IF= 9.517)PNAS(IF= 12.779等国内外学术期刊发表论文130余篇,SCI总索引4200余次,单篇引用最高达820余次。获得发明专利12件,主编《医学心理学》两部,《中医情绪心理学》《心身疾病的临床诊治与心理康复》《情绪心理学》各一部,翻译《正念的力量》一书。其中《情绪心理学》是国家统编“十三五”规划教材和国内第一部情绪心理学教材;《中医情绪心理学》被评为2016年度“最受欢迎的十佳中医药好书”。2014年入选江苏省特聘教授,2015年入选“江苏六大人才高峰”,2022年入选四川省峨眉领军人才。2014年回国以来领导和参与10余项国家及省部级项目。

目前担任许多国内外杂志的编委和客座主编,如Neural Plasticity (IF=3.5)、Oxidative medicine and cellular longevity(IF= 7.310), Frontiers in Psychology (IF= 4.232)Frontiers in Neurology (IF= 4.086), Frontiers in pharmacology (IF= 5.152),《世界科学技术-中医药现代化》、《中华行为医学与脑科学杂志》、《山东中医药大学学报》、《安徽医药》等;担任众多杂志的特邀审稿人。
